Sovereignty the Video Game

Sovereignty is a video game project that required a lot of my creative juices. I’ve had the responsibility of systemizing social media posts, gaming assets, and NFT artworks that tied with this epic fantasy game. I feel very proud challenging myself with an art style I was not familiar with at all.
As you’ll see, Sovereignty is inspired by 80’s fantasy influences such as D&D and The NeverEnding Story. The game tonally has a dark mystery.
Social Media
A huge part of promoting the game came down to the illustrations and the story telling on Twitter before final release. It gave followers a reason to get excited!
The Game
The game interface itself was built by designer Chris Rodriguez. I helped by making the game tiles, icons and characters. We agreed that the choice of dark magenta tones carried the fantasy experience. What even helped was the choice of this script pixel font! It really tied in with medieval elements in the game.

NFT Art
Below are some snippets that cover the bare surface of these NFTs. There was a long list of assets such as clothes, facial expressions, weapons, head pieces, and hair, which were all needed to compose these very detailed pixel art pieces. All of these assets helped complete a 500+ NFT set.
